FAQ: TERMS OF SERVICES

At Maid in Central Texas, we are committed to being your qualified experts for all your needs. Take a look at the list of frequently asked questions below for some useful answers. If you can’t find what you need, let us know and we’ll get back to you shortly.

CLEANING QUESTIONS

CAN I TIP THE CLEANING CREW?

Tipping is not required. It is completely optional.  If you wish to leave a tip, you can leave cash in an envelope marked for our crew or you can arrange the tip to be charged to your credit card.

CAN I SUPPLY MY OWN CLEANING PRODUCTS?

Absolutely! If you decide you want to use your own personal products, please let us know when requesting a quote.

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU PROVIDE WHEN CLEANING MY HOME?

The service comes with our own regular cleaning products found at any store. Customer has the option of selecting “Green/Natural” chemical free products (for a $25 dollar charge) when requesting a quote. We also provide our own vacuum, mop, and cleaning cloths.

WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT MY ENTIRE HOME TO BE CLEANED? CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY BOOKING?

Absolutely! We are here to meet your home cleaning needs. We do ask that you are very clear and specific when requesting a quote. This will ensure we provide you with the most reasonable prices.

I HAVE PETS. DO I HAVE TO LOCK THEM UP?

Not necessarily. As long as your pets are not aggressive we do not require for them to be  locked in a crate or room. We are a pet friendly company. We love pets!

WHAT IS NOT PART OF YOUR CLEANING SERVICE?

For the safety of our crew, we DO NOT move furniture that is heavy (sofas, beds etc), clean mold or blood, clean human or dog feces, climb areas that are not able to be reached from a stepping stool, clean oil leaks/spills, carpet cleaning, and clean exterior windows.

HOW CAN I MAKE THINGS EASIER FOR THE CREW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF MY CLEANING?

There are a few things you could do to maximize your value from our services and help us to do a better job. A clutter free area gives us the area we need to work for expected results.  If you are routine, try to maintain a consistent schedule. It’s easier to maintain a home cleaned on a routine basis rather than sporadically.

WHEN DO I KNOW THE CREW ARE COMING?

You will receive a SMS text message when we are on our way to your home.

SCHEDULING QUESTIONS

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?

Cancel 48 hours before service with no penalty. If you cancel within 24 hours or less, you may be charged 50% of the base fee.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO RESCHEDULE?

No worries! As long as you reschedule by noon the day before your appointment. If you reschedule after that time, there will be a rescheduling fee. You can simply call or email us.

DO I OR SOMEONE HAVE TO BE HOME DURING MY CLEANING SERVICE?

While it would be nice to meet you in person, it isn’t necessary. Some of our customers give us garage or door codes, hide the keys on the property, or leave a back door open.

IF I AM A RECURRING CUSTOMER, WILL I GET THE SAME CREW?

Absolutely! We would try our best for you to get the same crew. We would let you know if anything changes ahead of time.

WILL I HAVE A SET DATE AND TIME?

Yes if you are a weekly or semi-weekly client, we’ll assign you a set day and regular crew.

DO YOU WORK ON WEEKENDS?

On occasions (depending on bookings) we are available Saturday for a $50 weekend fee.

BILLING QUESTIONS

WHAT DISCOUNT AND PROMOTION DOES THE COMPANY PROVIDE?

HOW DO I PAY FOR THE SERVICE?

There will be a $15 dollar late fee amount automatically added to your next cleaning bill if payment is not made within 24 hours of your cleaning,

At Maid in Central Texas we value our customers and we provide quality service for our quality customers. If you feel that we missed a spot or you were not satisfied with the cleaning, let us know as soon as possible and we will make it right.100% guaranteed.

WILL I BE SIGNING A CONTRACT?

Currently for residential, there are no contracts. Cancel anytime. For commercial services, a contract will be provided.

When you complete a quote request, all discounts and promotions will be listed. There will also be discount coupons for our loyal customers and promotions throughout the year. Promotion codes, when available, will be located on our website. All discount and promotions will be provided at the discretion of Maid in Central Texas.

At your convenience, you can pay using all major credit cards, Venmo, check or cash. You will be charged after the service is complete.
